Last night, B2B Marketing held their annual awards ceremony at the HAC in London – an event which attracted 750 marketing professionals and took the title of ‘largest gathering of B2B marketers in Europe’. Having been shortlisted for three awards (Best use of Content Marketing, Best SME-targeted Campaign, and B2B Marketing Communications Agency of the Year) we were hopeful of scooping one on the night. In actual fact… we won two!
The B2B Marketing judges determined that we were the best candidates in the Best use of Content Marketing and Best SME-targeted Campaign categories for our work with Miele Professional. The campaign titled ‘Content with a cause’ ran alongside the client’s traditional advertising and PR activities. The channels used included lead generation emails, telemarketing, and most importantly… content. Using the content as a way to maintain a relationship and conversation with leads meant this inbound marketing activity was highly successful. With a 23% lift in web leads, a 202% increase in value per lead, and Miele Professional now generating 20% of their revenue via content, the campaign was highly measurable and a great success.
Attending the event in all their glamorous glory were Really B2B’s Agency Head, Kirsty Dawe, Client Services Director, Nicola Tipp, Marketing and Planning Director, Chris Manns and Marketing Manager, Aimee Binstead. Through their ongoing Tweets, they painted a picture of a fantastic evening, in a stunning setting in which two highly coveted awards were the outcome.
The atmosphere in the office today has reached fever pitch with the whole agency reaching never-before-seen levels of enthusiasm and pride. Having taken the time to acknowledge the scale of the achievement, the team are now looking to the future and the other accolades we can aim to win. Simply by focusing on the measurability and ROI of everything we do at Really B2B, we ensure that all our campaigns reach award-winning status, it’s just also nice to sometimes win the actual award and receive the recognition.
