As we all know, great minds think alike. But how do they know they’re alike if they never communicate? That’s right, the only way great minds can know if they think alike is by discussing, analysing and talking about their ideas.
With this in mind, the only way to determine if you have a great mind or if you can learn from a great mind is to ensure you are in their presence. And that’s why June and July this year could be a busy few weeks. B2B marketing events and conferences are excellent opportunities to hear the latest industry insights and findings, benchmark your activities against those of competitors, network with other marketers, and of course learn some valuable hints and tips for success.
The first date to mark in your diary is June 17, 2015. This is when the B2B Summit 2015 will be taking place at The Brewery in London and bringing together some of the industry’s biggest names. The keynote speakers at this year’s event include Annabel Rake, CMO, Deloitte and Michael Brenner, Head of Strategy, NewsCred. To ensure that the event covers all the main talking points and disciplines within the B2B marketing industry, the B2B Summit is made up of 5 ‘streams’. Each of these covers a different aspect of marketing and allows delegates to focus their attention on just one theme, or enjoy snippets from all of them. As a highlight in the B2B marketing event calendar, this year’s agenda will cover social media, engagement, content marketing, multi-channel marketing and insight.
Although tickets to the B2B Summit have already sold out, you will be able to keep up to date with the goings-on via B2B Marketing’s social media channels including their Twitter feed or via the dedicated hashtag #B2BSummit2015.
The second event to light up the summer months is the Figaro Digital Marketing Conference on July 16 at the Royal College of Physicians in London. This full-day event is dedicated to the issues shaping digital marketing in 2015 and features speakers from the UK's smartest brands, agencies and technology providers. The get-together looks to explore customer experience, omni-channel strategies, content, technology and more.
With discussions including Customer Experience Explained; Online, Offline, No Line; Marketing Beyond Marketing hosted in partnership with Adobe; and Engagement+, this one-day event can provide you with highly valuable insights. There are still tickets available for this event, but if you are unable to attend, you can follow all the action via Figaro’s Twitter feed (@Figaro_Digital) or by checking out the hashtag #FigDigConf.
