So… it’s been an exciting couple of weeks at Really B2B, and an unbelievable couple of years. Here’s why…
Back in the year 2014, we were shortlisted for 3 awards at the annual B2B Marketing Awards. From these nominations we scooped two highly coveted accolades - Best use of Content Marketing and Best SME-targeted Campaign. When we finally peeled ourselves off the ceiling and got our heart rates back to normal, we decided to refocus on our marketing activities and aim for more awards the following year.
Then we did it again…
When the 2015 B2B Marketing Awards shortlist was announced, we had again been nominated. This time it was for two awards including Best SME-targeted Campaign and the mother of all awards, B2B Marketing Communications Agency of the Year. Now, with such stiff competition at the event, we were preparing for the worst but hoping for the best. Then it happened… winners again! Winners of the Best SME Targeted Campaign for a second year running. This award is difficult to win once, and yet we now had two. So, with multiple awards under our belt (or at least in the trophy cabinet) it was time to redouble our efforts and push on towards this year’s awards.
And we’ve only gone and done it again!
On Monday, August 22nd, 2016, B2B Marketing released the shortlisted nominations for this year’s awards – and Really B2B featured yet again. Now, I don’t want to overplay this, but we’re pretty much still in shock. Why? Because in the B2B Marketing Awards 2016, we have been shortlisted in (*pause for dramatic effect*) 6 categories, that’s right, 6! The awards that we’re up for include…
- Best use of direct mail
- Best SME-targeted campaign
- Best corporate decision-maker-targeted campaign
- Best product launch campaign
- Best lead generation or nurturing campaign
- B2B marketing communications agency of the year
So, as you can imagine, the excitement has reached fever pitch in Really B2B HQ. And, with the actual awards ceremony not due to take place until November 24th, we’ve got a little while yet until we find out if we’ll get our hands on more silverware.
